11th Annual Great Pumpkin Race (presented for the first time by all NSD high school cross country teams: Bothell, Inglemoor & Woodinville.)
When: Tuesday, October 29th, 2013 (ATHLETES PLEASE ARRIVE AT 4PM!)
Where: Bothell High School (9130 NE 180th Street, Bothell, WA 98011)
Who: All students (K-6th grade) of Northshore School District are welcome to participate. The race is a FREE event put on by cross country athletes from Bothell, Inglemoor & Woodinville High School to (A.) collect food for our local food bank & (B.) share our wonderful sport with the next generation of runners. Please help us by donating/collecting food for those in need.
Races: Here is the schedule of races. Girls from each grade will run first, with the boys running immediately after.
- Kindergarden - 5:30pm (400m)
- 1st Grade - 5:45pm (400m)
- 2nd Grade - 6:00pm (800m)
- 3rd Grade - 6:15pm (800m)
- 4th Grade - 6:30pm (800m)
- 5th Grade - 6:40pm (1200m)
- 6th Grade - 6:50pm (1200m)
Awards: All athletes will receive ribbons of participation, along with candy to help boost up their sugar levels after a hard race. Finishers in the top 5 of each grade division will also receive a "Great Pumpkin" trophy!
Parking: With a high participation turnout expected, please carpool if at all possible to relieve congestion and provide more parking for all. Thank you.
