As the second and final day of our spring XC "meet and greet tour" came to an end, Coach Alex and I were ecstatic with the reception we felt at Skyview JH today! We had originally printed out 60 informational fliers about Bothell XC and our Spring XC Meeting. To our shock, we ran out!! What an awesome problem to have. Not only did we get the chance to talk with prospective major contributors to our program athletically, but we also got the chance to meet at ton of polite and intelligent young adults. Although we are only starting to build the foundations for the upcoming season, it is exciting to watch the excitement build!
We are currently putting together our final preparations for next weeks Spring XC Meeting on Thursday, June 7th at Bothell HS. The athletes meeting/FREE PIZZA PARTY will take place from 3:30pm till 4:30pm in Ms. Boyce's room (753, above the main office), with the parent/guardian meeting to follow from 6pm to 7pm in the BHS library. Thank you to all of you at Canyon Park and Skyview that we met over the last two days for your generosity. The Bothell Coaches, Team Parents and Team Captains look forward to seeing you all Thursday!!
Casey! 60 fliers gone - that's AMAZING and so exciting! Even if only half of them actually joined the team, that'd be such a great addition. Looks like our numbers are going to be high this year :)
