Hello Cross Country Families and Coaches -
I wanted to send out an e-mail to remind everyone to sign up for the the Family BBQ that we will be holding on Friday, October 18th at 5:15pm (yes, that is a week from tomorrow). For those of you that attended last year, you will remember what a great time was had by all. For those of you who are new to our program, this is your chance to get to know the other parents and the coaches without having to worry about whether or not you just missed your athlete running by you
.
Once again we will be holding the BBQ at the high school, but we are moving the location to just outside the commons. During curriculum night, we discovered that there are some picnic tables over there, so we decided to take advantage of them. This years BBQ will include hamburgers as well as hot dogs and a selection of side dishes.
After the BBQ, many of us will be heading down to Pop Keeney to enjoy the football game, and since this isn't a home game for Bothell, the runners who are also in the band will actually be able to join us this year.
If you haven't already signed up, please go onto the Easy Sign Ups website and sign up with your name and the number of people in your party. This is a family event, so siblings are more than welcome to attend........plus, it gives the Coaches a chance to recruit those young runners.
