Week #3 Workouts

Happy Labor Day weekend.  I hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday and enjoys the last weekend of summer.  A couple of things.  First, congrats to everyone on finishing another hard, yet extremely productive week of training.  I promise you.  All the hard work you put in now will pay huge dividends come the end of the year.  Second, I have posted a rough outline of next weeks schedule below.  Included is mileage for Monday's "run-on-your-own" run.  Third, next week the weather is expected to climb up into the 80s, so make sure you are practicing good hydration techniques now.  Remember, if you are thirsty, you are already dehydrated!  Again, I hope you all have a great weekend.  Enjoy your last 2 back-to-back days away from the coaching staff for the next two months!! :)

Week #3 Schedule
Monday: Recovery Day (No Organized Practice)
  • Boys Blue = 8 miles
  • Boys Black = 6 miles
  • Boys White = 5 miles
  • Girls Blue = 6 miles
  • Girls Black = 5 miles
  • Girls White = 4 miles

Tuesday: Intervals @ St. Edwards Park (UPDATED!! 9/3/12), 3pm (Spike Night @ Everyday Athlete, 6pm)
Wednesday: Recovery Run @ BHS, 3pm (Uniform Hand-out)
Thursday: Meet Day @ Lincoln Park, West Seattle (Dress Up Nice, Catch Bus @ 2pm by Commons)
Friday: Hill Run @ St. Edwards Park, 3pm (All Drivers have a Discovery Pass??)
Saturday: Long Run @ Redmond Watershed (directions to follow)
Sunday: Off Day
