What Type of Shoes Should I Buy?

When it comes to running, we are lucky.  We don't have to buy fancy bike chains, helmets or padded spandex.  Although, when it comes to running, shoes are the most important piece of equipment you will buy.  The correct pair of shoes will keep you healthy and running pain free, while incorrect shoes will ill serve you and in some cases be the root cause of injury.

When it comes to buying the correct running shoes for you, check out this article by Cielestia Calbay from Competitor.com.  http://running.competitor.com/2012/02/shoes-and-gear/top-5-shoe-buying-tips-for-runners_40880

As a coach and running shoe salesman, I whole heartily believe in all 5 of Cielestia's recommendations for buying shoes.  Remember, everyone is unique and we all have different foot types.  With the help from a professional, you will hopefully find a shoe that works best for you!
